Yes, #2 is super!
I like the next to last one as well. If not for the shadow on her face, the one of the couple is great.
Great portrait session, Kati!

Re: My 1st Family Portraits!
Your shots are good Katiblue. I have question for ya. Do you own external flash unit or just the one that came with the camera. The reason why i ask this, Some of the shots that have the really whited out backgrounds could be simply corrected if you have an external flash. With an external flash you could use it as a filler, You would meter your shot at the whited back ground and use the flash to fill in the dark areas. I know some shots can be hard to do. Lighting can be a bitch to work with at times..... Hope this helps...

Re: My 1st Family Portraits!
Thanks Mali for the advice.. i have that photo in my picasa that i adjusted, and it does look better than the one i posted, but not quite as nice as yours.. what did you do to it?? and the flash.. i just have the flash that's on my camera, not an extra.. i dont always use it for fill, cause i find it is too harsh.. with no adjustments on it.. anyway.. I should invest in one,, i would also like to get a reflector, i think that would be nice to have for those close ups .. & the polarizing lens... maybe i'll take some time and get into that stuff, now that winter is approaching,,who's gonna be out taking pics.. lol..
